Paperwhite Bulb Sizes

Below are two examples of paperwhite bulbs. Both will grow and flower, indoors or outside in a warm climate. But the display will not be the same. Bigger bulbs produce stronger plants and more flowers

We sell the largest paperwhite bulbs available, ones that are 17+ cm in circumference. With these you'll get the best floral display and the nicest gifts. Most other retailers (mass merchants, garden centers and online stores) sell smaller bulbs. Why? Because the big bulbs are more expensive and are very difficult to find. By selling smaller paperwhites others can save themselves the trouble of finding top notch flower bulbs and can also enjoy larger profit margins

To get the best performance for your gardening dollar, look for size information before buying.

(Would you pay $9 for a block of your favorite parmesan cheese? Probably depends on whether you're getting a 1/2 lb., a 3/4 lb. or a full pound, right?)
