Reblooming Bearded Iris Renown
Reblooming Bearded Iris Renown
Sometimes a bed of blue or purple tall bearded irises needs a contrasting color to make the most of the varied shades. Renown is a silvery white that does a fine job of punching up blooms that reside on the cool side of the color wheel, blues, violets, plums and purples. Yet another winner from the prolific iris hybridizer Dr. Zurbrigg, this tall rebloomer performs especially well in moderate to warm climates.
Highlights & Hints
- Perfect foil for the vivid blues and purples of other irises.
- Little water, little fertilizer, a minimum of fuss -- for spectacular results!
- Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds -- and people too! -- but deer are unimpressed.
