Tecolote Ranunculus - Okay, the name is tough to love, but these plants sure aren't. First, the Tecolote part. There are several types of ranunculus but we only sell the Tecolote strain. Why? Because these have been selectively bred to produce big 3”-5” flowers by the handful, in scrumptious colors. A single bulb can produce dozens of ranunculus flowers. In answer to flower arrangers' prayers, Tecolote ranunculus grow with long straight stems, have an long vase-life and bloom in mouthwatering shades. Recent breeding has yielded flowers with picotee markings, blush edges that appear to have been the result of hand dipping each blossom.
Our Tecolote ranunculus come from the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, located few miles from us. We contract for the best of each year's crop. These are the biggest, most choice Persian buttercups money can buy. Don't settle. Go for the best. |
