Luck = Opportunity + Preparation. Or at least that's what one of our staffers believes.

One could make the case, however, that luck is receiving an easy to grow, ready to flower pot of shamrocks at any time of the year. In the fall, for the holidays, for Valentine's Day . . . can you think of a time when a little good luck wouldn't be welcome?

Oxalis require a sunny window and not much else to be happy. We're amazed that these happy little plants aren't more widely grown because their green or purple pinwheel foliage and dainty flowers certainly earn wider enjoyment. See for yourself.
