Pink Peony Bulbs For Sale | Dr Alexander Fleming (Fragrant)

The ravishing blooms of Peony Dr Alexander Fleming make its European popularity no wonder. A striking discovery in the Peony world, this award-winning variety was nobly named after the British scientist who first discovered penicillin.

Known for their sweet fragrance, the blossoms produced by Dr Alexander Fleming are fully double, rounded, and a lovely shade of rose pink. Its many side buds elongate the bloom season while the strong stems make it a choice cut flower. Expect them to arrive in droves around early Summer on a tall bush with long stems. Deer-resistant.

Large bareroots with many eyes

I bought a few peony bareroots in the fall and planted them. First of all, the number of eyes is impressive. These are not small roots with one or two eyes (I saw some from a box store this spring that were quite sad). It was at least four or five eyes - maybe more. I didn't expect any flowers this first spring, but I have at least three flower buds. I am really excited to see these bloom this year and the bigger root translates to flowers sooner! I have them planted in full sun.
