Gorgeous Allium Bulbs for Sale | Aflatunense Purple Sensation

Dare to make a bold statement with the unusual blooms of Allium Aflatunense Purple Sensation! Vivid purple-magenta florets are held in 4 to 5" globe-forming clusters, rising up to 36" tall on strong, straight stems. This bright and energetic bloomer makes its presence known in garden beds, borders, and cut flower arrangements. Plus, it can't be bothered by deer or rabbits but is highly attractive to butterflies!

Purple Sensation is the first of the large-flowering Alliums to grace spring gardens, and their entrance is nothing short of electrifying! With slim, silvery foliage, this beauty is simply stunning when planted with the white Reblooming Bearded Iris Frequent Flyer or early-blooming Peony Festiva Maxima. Just take a moment to absorb the depth and texture of the vibrant blossoms, and we just know you'll fall head over heels!

Good Allium for Hot Climate Gardens

I love all alliums -- unfortunately many alliums don't love my hot summer climate zone. This one did very well for me its first season, and it seems to be coming back this year. A nice height -- about two feet, with lovely purple globes that attract pollinators. I'll try to remember to report back in a few years whether it naturalizes here.
