From Canada to Mexico the western United States features an amazing and diverse group of native bulbs. They grow in a wide spectrum of zones & conditions adaptable to gardens nationwide. If you're a bulb or plant in the West you've generally got to be pretty tough to survive so the selection you'll find here are typically very drought and soil tolerant and many prefer a good summer bake. In the warmer zones, many are actually evergreen. In the cooler zones, many will work quite well in containers. All of these, of course, are beautiful.
