Flower Carpet White

Flower Carpet White was a Gold Winner in the prestigious 1991 All-Deutsche Rose Trial of Germany (ADR). The ADR is considered by many to be the premier international rose trial. Roses are judged six times annually for three years in nine test gardens throughout Germany. Evaluated for flowering, general appearance and ease of growing, with special emphasis on natural disease-resistance and overall performance with no chemical spraying or dusting.

Flower Carpet White is considered by many to be the most disease-resistant white rose available. It has proved in international trials to be highly resistant to common rose blights such as black spot and mildew. It does not require routine chemical spraying and dusting.
Flower Carpet White has a pleasing fragrance and a notable ability to retain beautiful, snowy white petals for the entire life of the flowers, even after exposure to rain. These petals fall to the ground in a pleasing “snow” effect, giving the plant it’s botanical name Rosa var. ‘Noaschnee’, a combination of the German word for snow, schnee, and Noa, from Noa, the name of the family whose company that bred the rose.

Both home gardeners and professional landscapers will find Flower Carpet White a true easy-care groundcover rose, simple to grow and easy to maintain. Flower Carpet roses are “self-cleaning” and require no fancy pruning or deadheading, simply trim to shape anytime of year. To invigorate blooming, cut back to 10-inches once annually in late winter or early spring. Maximum flowering and performance can be achieved by feeding with a timed-release rose food high in potash. And finally, keep well-watered.
