Camassia leichtlinii 'Caerulea'

Camassia leichtlinii caerulea

Camassia leichtlinii caerulea
With lavender blue flowers, ranging in color from light to deep blue, caerulea is dependable producer of tall stalks of six-petalled blooms in late spring to early summer. These plants will grow well in heavy clay soils, the nemeses of most bulbs. A good source of beautiful blues for cut flower arrangements. Note: these bulbs are cultivated, not collected from the wild.
