If you follow us on Instagram, you’ve probably seen us talk about our Adventure Packs (and if you’re not, let’s fix that — follow us here!). But we think they’re such a great deal that we want to be sure nobody misses out on the info, so here’s everything you need to know.

What are Adventure Packs, anyway?

Adventure Packs are huge bundles of bulbs in a variety of colors, shapes, and form. They do not have any specific theme other than that they are all amazing, and each bulb is clearly labelled so you know what you’re getting. But you don’t know ahead of time! That’s the “adventure” part of our packs; it’s a total surprise. What’s in the pack?

• At least 300 (yes, 300!) bulbs
• At least 10 different varieties
• Cost: $99
• Value: $350
• Each pack may include tulips, starflowers, scilla, ranunculus, narcissus, grape hyacinth, dichelostemma, crocus, chionodoxa, camassia, bearded iris or allium

Why buy them?

If you’re the kind of person who loves presents because of the surprise element, Adventure Packs are for you, but there are more reasons to love them:

1. They appeal to your adventurous spirit
2. They’re a great value
3. It’s a fun surprise
4. It’s a great way to try bulbs you may not have experimented with before
5. You can experiment with forcing them to bloom indoors as well
6. It’ll give you a reason to throw a bulb-planting party (300 bulbs don’t plant themselves, you know)

What You Should Know Before Ordering

Sure, an adventure is great, but you still need some additional details to make up your mind, and these should help you out:

• Adventure Packs are not planting-zone specific. This means that you may get some bulbs that will bloom once in your area, while others may naturalize and spread. You’re saving so much money that it’s okay to simply enjoy some flowers for a season, though, right?
• You can plant them outdoors as long as the ground is not frozen. If you can get a shovel in the ground, you’re good to go.
• Adventure Packs are final sales. There are no refunds, returns, or store credit with Adventure Packs. 
• You are not guaranteed a specific bulb. Yes, we’ve mentioned that before, but it bears repeating. If you desperately want tulips in your Adventure Pack, chances are *pretty good* you’ll wind up getting some, but we can’t guarantee that. If no tulips are going to wreck your life, then we suggest ordering the Adventure Pack and then placing a second order for the bulbs you absolutely have to have.

You may wind up with some bulbs you know literally nothing about, and that’s okay! We kind of pride ourselves on everything that has to do with bulbs, and we want you to feel confident and be successful. That’s why we’ve written extensive Growing Guides for each bulb variety — we will never send you bulbs without also providing you with the knowledge of what they are and how to plant and grow them.
